To connect any drive shaft to a driven shaft, Timken Quick-Flex elastomeric couplings are a smart solution. There is no metal-to-metal contact, due to the urethane insert, so no lubrication is needed. Couplings are use to connect motor to gearbox, gearbox to driven equipment and motors to pumps.
Cualidades
The Quick-Flex black insert offers the highest torque ratings of any of our inserts. This insert is well suited for very high torque applications, and Quick-Flex couplings with a black insert are excellent replacements for gear-style couplings. This insert offers an operational temperature range of -50° C to 100° C (-60° F to 212° F). When using a high-speed cover, the use of a black insert is not recommended. In an application where high torque is present, use a split-cover option.
Aplicaciones
Timken Quick-Flex couplings stand up to harsh environments and operate efficiently in applications including: motor to gearbox (low torque/high speed), gearbox to driven equipment (high torque/low speed), motors to pumps and any drive shaft to a driven drive shaft.
